Each year, I love to see my clients achieving whatever it is that they want to achieve when they realise the amazing potential of their own inner resources.
There are two main ways to work with me:
Option 1: Get results fast – with powerful and effective hypnotherapy and/or EFT sessions
Perhaps you want to stop smoking – and take advantage of my specialised ‘Become a Non-Smoker’ programme with my personal guarantee to you.
Perhaps you want to achieve the weight and shape you want, let go of unwanted eating patterns and feel comfortable and confident in your body.
Maybe you want to let go of stress, fears and anxieties, overcome phobias that have been troubling you and enjoy better and more refreshing sleep.
Maybe you’ve found your way to these pages because you’ve heard about my work using hypnotherapy and hypnosis in sport, helping people to let go of obstacles and limitations and achieve their ultimate performance in many different fields from running to cycling to water-skiing and show jumping.
What does hypnotherapy feel like? Well, you can read all about hypnotherapy and hypnosis here, including answers to some common questions you might have about the natural state of focused awareness that is hypnosis and self-hypnosis and how you can use it to make amazing changes in your life.
Find out more about EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) here.
The range of tools that I use in any one session are drawn from my training and experience in clinical hypnotherapy and creative coaching and personal development techniques, together with my extensive research in the neuroscience and cognitive science of consciousness, creativity, and hypnosis.
I use some CBT, some NLP, some EFT and lots of other stuff without the weird initials, but the primary tool that I use is hypnosis and self-hypnosis.
You can be sure that I will bring evidence-based practice from the world of hypnotherapy, self-hypnosis and personal development – together with a wealth of experience and a sense of fun – to the work that we can do together.
I subscribe to the point of view that says that change does not need to be a painful or drawn-out process and that you can feel better and make changes in your life without always understanding why things happened in the past.
Option 2: Life Coaching or You-Can-Have-the-Life-You-Want
There doesn’t need to be anything specifically ‘wrong’ with your life in order for you to want to have things happen.
I can help you to rediscover who you truly are, let go of those old unhelpful stories that you’ve been telling yourself. You know that ones that go, ‘I can’t do this because…’ or ‘I can’t be this AND be successful…’ or ‘I’m just not that kind of person …’
I can help you to dissolve those unhelpful beliefs, and create a life that allows you to express who you feel you are – deep-down inside – rather than who you think you ought to be.
This is also about supporting you in doing more of what you love and less of what diminishes you, reconnecting with what feeds you and nurtures you and makes you feel more energised, switched-on, focused and… well, just more you.
My coaching clients are all kinds of people – business people, therapists, personal trainers, artists, writers, musicians, doctors, academics…

Whatever your particular goal, situation or challenge, you can expect a focused and fun approach that will help you to let go of all that stuff that’s been holding you back and begin to enjoy greater confidence, health and happiness.
But don’t take my word for it…
‘I have not touched a cigarette since I saw you, and it feels so good to be free of them. I truly believe that I look better, and feel so much fitter. I have really felt a huge difference in that respect. Thanks so much for what you have done for me.’Geraldine Williams, York
‘I had to write to you to say thank you for all your help and support. For someone who on that first day believed it would never work, it has been one of the best decisions of my life… What you have given me is the tools to use when things seem to be getting on top of me. I still use the self hypnosis nearly every day.
I feel it is sad that people like me usually have the wrong idea about hypnosis. I have no doubt that, if they knew the truth, more people would use it as it’s nothing like you see on TV. Please accept my sincere thanks from all my family as they all say I’m a better person.’
David Nevison, York
